Lure With Trap
The DIAMOND BLACK MOTH (DBM) is nontoxic and does not affect the Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, and other brassica crops quality.
Sticky Water Trap/Insect Trap (Plutella xylostella) is useful for catching Diamond Black Moth, it is natural and cost effective way to catch the insect without using insecticides or harmful chemicals.
It is a safe and nature-friendly product. The diamondback moth (DBM) is one of the most studied insects in the world, yet it is also one of the 'leaders' of the most difficult pests to control.
Lures containing sex pheromones are placed into insect traps and erected in the field at a recommended spacing. The lure will release the sex pheromone at a constant rate over 2-4 weeks.
Male moths are attracted and while attempting for mating, fall into a container having a pesticide. Thus, the female moths in the field are deprived of successful mates and fail to reproduce or lay viable eggs.
