Product Description: Dr. Bacto’s PSB 4K has phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) Bacillus megaterium which are agriculturally beneficial bacteria capable of solubilizing inorganic phosphate from insoluble compounds present in the soil.

Mode of action: These bacteria release low molecular weight organic acids such as formic, acetic, propionic, lactic, glycolic, fumaric, and succinic acids and acidic phosphatases, etc. which solubilize the mineral phosphates present in soil and make them available for crops/plants.

Benefits: In addition to phosphorous, it increases micronutrient availability to the plant from the soil and encourages faster root growth for water and nutrient uptake.
